Short version: the app keeps your notes on your machine, and this website counts visits without knowing who you are.
Fyka Notes stores everything in a local database on your own computer. There is no account to create, no server to sync with, and no telemetry. Your notes are never transmitted anywhere. Uninstalling the app and deleting its data folder removes every trace of them.
The app checks GitHub for new releases when you ask it to. That request reaches GitHub, not us, and carries nothing about your notes.
This site uses two privacy-friendly analytics scripts: Vercel Analytics and a self-hosted counter at watch.fyka.me. They record aggregate page views, referrers and rough country-level location. Neither sets advertising cookies, builds a profile across sites, or stores anything that identifies you personally.
Nothing on this site asks for your name, email address or payment details.
Downloads and issue reports are hosted on GitHub, and the support link goes to Buy Me a Coffee. Once you follow one of those links you are on their infrastructure, under their privacy policies rather than this one.
The app is open source, so you can read exactly what it does in the repository. If something here is unclear, open an issue.
